The Board of Education, at its June 9th Workshop, recognized Mr. Fred
Philips for 35 years of school board service and numerous volunteer
commitments to PTA, school district, and community organizations. School
Board President Mr. Norman A. Wagner presented an engraved gavel to Mr.
Philips on behalf of the Central Islip Board of Education as a token of
the District's appreciation.
