Fire Ravages Through LI Home, Multiple Families Displaced
The blaze broke out at the Brentwood home Thursday morning.

BRENTWOOD, NY — A massive fire believed to be caused by a propane tank explosion, destroyed a Brentwood home and displaced at least seven Thursday morning.
Suffolk police confirmed the blaze was reported on St. Peter's Drive at 11:17 a.m.
According to an ABC7 report, the fire is thought to have been sparked by propane tanks behind the home that may have had the relief valves open, but it is still unknown if they have been tampered with.

Officials are still investigating.
Multiple families were displaced as a result of the fire, including five adults and two children, CBS2 reports.

Brentwood NY: Firefighters from multiple area departments responded to a house fire shortly after 11am this morning on St. Peter’s Drive.
