Man Seriously Injured In Fourth Of July Fireworks Accident
The 29-year-old suffered a serious hand injury while lighting a firework Saturday night.
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A Brookhaven man was seriously injured while lighting a firework in Central Islip on the Fourth of July, according to Suffolk Police.
The 29-year-old suffered a serious hand injury while lighting a firework at a home on Tamarack Street at 9:15 p.m.
The man was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
