New Drive-Thru Testing Site Opens In Brentwood

BRENTWOOD, NY — A new drive-thru COVID-19 testing site recently opened up in Brentwood. The new site, provided by Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and the Town of Islip, is free to residents and was officially launched on Wednesday.
Officials decided to open the site in Brentwood, which has been identified by the New York State Department of Health as a hot spot for COVID-19, according to the Town of Islip. Because of this, officials are working to increase testing and tracing of the community within and surrounding Brentwood, as a preventative health measure.

- Hours: Open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
