Teen Injured In Drive-By Shooting In Central Islip

The shooting was reported Tuesday night.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A Bay Shore teen was injured in a shooting in Central Islip Tuesday night, according to Suffolk Police. The 17-year-old was standing in front of 10 East Suffolk Avenue when he was struck in the leg by one of several gunshots fired from a passing car at 9:25 p.m.

The teen was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries.
