Teens Spotted Doing Good Deeds For Others At Local Bagel Boss
The trio from Brentwood purchased food for several customers during a recent trip to a Long Island bagel shop.

BAY SHORE, NY — Three teenagers are proving that no small act of kindness should go unnoticed. Earlier this week, three friends Kevin Vasquez, 19, Aston Ali, 17, and Diego Agreda, 18, all of Brentwood, were spotted spreading kindness by buying meals for some of the customers at the Bagel Boss on Montauk Highway in Bay Shore.
Local resident Celia Vollmer spotted the teens and asked to take a photo of them and share the story on her social media. Vollmer said one of the first customers to have their food paid for by the three men was a senior who cried with gratitude. However, this wasn't the first time the trio decided to buy food for local residents. For the past year and a half, the trio has been buying food for several customers whenever they go to grab some food, whether it's at a local deli or at Taco Bell.
"We do this all the time," Vasquez told Patch. "We do it all for integrity, we just want to give back, especially us coming from Brentwood, I've always wanted to give Brentwood a good reputation because we're always looked down upon and we don't really get the same opportunities that other towns do."

During the most recent good deed at the Bagel Boss on Wednesday, the three teens purchased the meals of at least six or seven customers. But over the past year and a half, Vasquez said they "lost count" of how many people they purchased food for. Since the coronavirus pandemic began, Vasquez said the three has took it to the next level because they wanted to give back to the people who are quarantined and going through a lot. They've also been grateful for the comments and hope this will inspire other Long Islanders.
"Having our voices heard is truly a dream come true, we just want to thank everyone that is making it happen," Vasquez said. "We're proud to be from Brentwood and to represent Brentwood."
