8th Grader Achilles Siouzios is Principal for the Day at The Chapel School!

On Monday, June 7, Achilles Siouzios was Principal for the Day at The Chapel School. His day consisted of welcoming students on car line, checking attendance and completed the DOH’s daily survey, welcoming parents at Junior K 4s End-Of-Year In-Person Concert, recording announcements and awards for Wednesday’s Chapel service, joining in a weekly Pastor-Principal Meeting with Pastor Hartwell, lunch at Five Guys on Central Avenue, running a fire drill, giving his Class of 2021 friends a non-uniform day and putting together this press release and a social media post about his day.

While reflecting on the day’s activities, Achilles said, "I really enjoyed doing the announcements, both the recording for Chapel and getting to talk over the PA system to the whole school at once. I think my classmates will probably be happy about the non-uniform day too.” This experience was the result of a prize won at the 2021 Gathering of Friends Spring Festival Gala on May 15.
