A Bronxville man has been charged with driving while intoxicated on Pondfield Road. Investigators say that 24-year-old Edward Boehlke was driving through downtown Bronxville at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday night when police pulled him over in his 2008 Jeep Cherokee.
Police say that Boehlke's Jeep was weaving as he drove down Pondfield Road during the early morning hours. After he was pulled over, the Sturgis Road resident would not take a field sobriety test. Boehlke would also not take a test when he was taken down to Police Headquarters.Â
Boehlke was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, in addition to traffic and vehicle violations.Â
