The Bronxville Sidewalk Sale is still going on this afternoon despite the rain. The Bronxville Chamber says the sales have simply been moved inside today.
"The Bronxville Sidewalk Sale continues rain or shine! Stores will move their sales indoors if it's raining, so shoppers are urged to grab their umbrellas and not miss out." says Bronxville Chamber Executive Director Susan Miele. "As for Saturday's Park Place Street Fair, the current forecast calls for rain to end by early morning, so we're currently planning on carrying the fair out as originally planned. If the rain doesn't stop early enough, we'll consider a delayed start. Any weather-related announcements will be posted on the Chamber's website at www.bronxvillechamber.com and on our Facebook page."
On Saturday, there will be a street fair on Park Place in addition to the sidewalk sale. From noon until 5 p.m. Saturday there will be live entertainment, food, vendors and activities for the kids.
There will also be a free parking in the Garden and Kraft Avenue lots, in addition to the metered parking spots on Parkway Road on Friday and Saturday.
