Carl H. Steinmuller, Former Bronxville Police Chief, Dies

He retired from the police department in 1992.

BRONXVILLE, NY - Carl H. Steinmuller, former Bronxville chief of police, died June 2.

A resident of Rye, Steinmuller joined the Bronxville Police Department in 1952 and retired as chief of police in 1992.

Calling hours will be between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, 20 Cedar St. in Bronxville.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6 at the funeral home.
