Clearing Out For Sunday: Bronxville's Weekend Weather

BRONXVILLE, NY — Once the Hudson Valley gets through Friday, it seems that the worst weather will be behind us. Yes, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms for Saturday, but it doesn’t seem it will reach the hazardous weather level of Friday.

Rain will clear out Saturday night, and Sunday looks to have the best weather of the weekend.

Don’t put your umbrellas completely out of the way, because more precipitation is on tap for next week beginning Tuesday.

• Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. South wind 5 to 9 mph.
• Friday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
• Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming south around 6 mph in the morning.
• Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northwest after midnight.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 84. North wind around 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
• Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67.
