Diverted Plane Lands Safely at County Airport
County officials say no emergency was declared.
A regional aircraft landed safely at Westchester County Airport Tuesday afternoon after it was diverted from LaGuardia Airport, according to a county official.
The plane was redirected around 1 p.m., the official said. An emergency was never declared and the official did not know why the plane was redirected.
The aircraft had about 50 seats, but the number of people on-board and model of the plane were not available.
