Eastchester Police say they arrested a woman for stealing wallets and clothes worth more than $2,900 from Lord and Taylor. Store security said the woman went into a fitting room and stuffed the items into a shopping bag. She then got ready to leave the store. But before she could exit, Lord and Taylor security stopped her.
The suspect is being identified at 22-year-old Bronx resident Brittany J. Hyland. Eastchester Police are charging her with felony fourth-degree grand larceny. Hyland appeared in court yesterday. She was released on $250 bail.
