Eastchester's Michael Berkowitz fractured his girlfriend's arm after pushing her, according to police. Investigators say the 29-year-old man had been arguing with his live-in girlfriend when he went towards a window. His girlfriend went up to him, and Berkowitz pushed her. When she fell, investigators say she fractured her elbow.
Berkowitz is now charged with felony assault in connection with the Sunday incident. His girlfriend, who is not being identified, had to be taken to a hospital. The 29-year-old is due back in court on July 17. He is currently out on bail.
