BRONXVILLE-EASTCHESTER, NY—With music venues from Port Chester to Peekskill to Poughkeepsie, every season is concert season in the Hudson Valley. Quite a few concerts of note are taking place through October and November. Whether you like opera, singer-songwriters or retro new wave, there's music for everyone. Here are a few we suggest you check out.
Westchester

The Chappaqua Performing Arts Center presents Chappaqua native and singer/songwriter Dar Williams on Nov. 17.
Peekskill

The fall lineup at the Paramount Theater features Boz Scaggs, Bruce Hornsby, Arlo Guthrie, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes, Delbert McClinton and a Beatles tribute.
Port Chester
On the October list of musical performers at the Capitol Theater are Garbage, the Avett Brothers, and Michael Franti and Spearhead.
Purchase
The B-52s will headline the Really Big Show on Nov. 3 at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. The show is a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Family Services of Westchester. This fall the Performing Arts Center will also host the American String Quartet with Salman Rushdie reading excerpts of "The Enchantress of Florence," Orange is the New Black’s Lea DeLaria, mixing hard edge comedy with the smooth sound of jazz, and returning crowd favorite Black Violin. An evening with composer Jimmy Webb is scheduled
for Oct. 6.
Tarrytown
The Tarrytown Music Hall lineup has Jay and the Americans, Los Lobos and Air Supply scheduled for
October. In November the lineup includes the Kington Trio, Renaissance, Don McLean and the Wallflowers.
Mid-Hudson Valley
Poughkeepsie
Aida Live at the Met will be shown at the Bardavon on October 6. Opera not your thing? Check out musical comedian Randy Rainbow on Oct. 19 and Edie Brickell and the Bohemians on Oct. 13.
Kingston
From Oct. 5 to 7 the O+ Festival transforms the city of Kingston into one large-scale musical venue. Performances by comedian Janeane Garofolo, Evan Dando of the Lemonheads and Mamadou Kelly, a musician from Mali, are just a few of the dozens of performances scheduled for the weekend.
Beacon
The fall lineup at the Towne Crier Cafe includes John Gorka, Tom Rush, Sloan Wainwright and Grammy-nominated singer Eliza Gilkyson.
Pawling
Daryl's House, founded by Hall and Oates member Daryl Hall, will feature Chuck Prophet, Jethro Tull's Martin Barre and Grand Old Opry regular Elizabeth Cook this fall.
Rockland
Piermont
The Turning Point presents both Cliff Eberhardt and Patty Larkin in the first week of October.
