Hudson Valley Councilman Dies Of Coronavirus
Glenn Bellitto had been a member of the Eastchester town board since 2011.
EASTCHESTER, NY — The Town of Eastchester is mourning the loss of one its town board members. Glenn Bellitto died Thursday after being hospitalized last weekend with the new coronavirus.
Bellitto was on the zoning board of appeals in Bronxville and became the village's deputy mayor before becoming an Eastchester town board member in 2011, the Journal News said.
He was born and raised in Yonkers and went to Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains.

Bellitto received a bachelor's degree in government from Harvard College and then went on to get a master's in business administration from Harvard Business School.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer paid tribute to Bellitto at a news conference Friday.
"He was a tremendously wonderful person to know," he said.

"We may have been in different political parties, but I found him to be a community-minded person," Latimer said.
