Hudson Valley Woman Appearing On 'Great American Baking Show'

The show is based on the hit U.K. series "The Great British Bake Off."

EASTCHESTER, NY — If you are a fan of ABC's "Great American Baking Show," you may have recognized one of your neighbors who is appearing on the show. Eastchester resident Tina Zaccardi survived the first challenges — cakes and pastries — and will continue on the show.

The show, which is based on the hit U.K. series "The Great British Bake Off," returned for its fourth season Thursday.

This season, Spice Girl and TV personality Emma Bunton joins returning host actor, comedian and former football defensive tackle Anthony "Spice" Adams, according to the ABC show's website.

Two other bakers from New York will be competing with Zaccardi: Jason Arthur from Brooklyn and Andrea Maranville from Sherrill, Oneida County. There were 10 bakers at the beginning of the competition.
