Man Dies In Eastchester Apartment Fire

There was smoke damage to other second- and third-floor apartments.

EASTCHESTER, NY — A fire early Sunday in Eastchester resulted in the death of one man. Fire officials said Philip Siciliano, 66, died in the blaze at 231 Main St.

The fire broke out around 2:15 a.m. in the third floor of the three-story building, the Journal News reported.

The blaze does not appear to be suspicious and may have started in the kitchen.
