Palmer Avenue Bridge Lane Closure Announced
The closure is necessitated by work on the bridge, the county said.
BRONXVILLE, NY — The Palmer Avenue Bridge will be closed westbound starting Wednesday, an email from the Bronxville Police Department said. The county Department of Public Works will be rehabilitating the bridge and will therefore be prohibiting traffic between Paxton Avenue and Parkview Avenue westbound from Wednesday through Friday, June 28.
There will be a posted detour directing traffic on Pondfield Road to Bronxville Road to Palmer Road.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
