Police: Drunk Driving Accident in Tuckahoe

Police arrested a Yonkers man for getting into a car accident with a Tuckahoe resident's vehicle while driving drunk, according to investigators. The accident happened last Wednesday evening on Marbledale Road.

Robert Gizzi, 66, was driving his Honda Civic when he got into an accident with a 63-year-old Tuckahoe resident. After officers arrived, they gave Gizzi a field sobriety test, which he did no pass. Investigators later found that Gizzi's blood alcohol level was .23 percent. The State of New York's blood alcohol limit is .08. Police arrested Gizzi and charged him with driving while intoxicated.

Police say no one was hurt in the Marbledale Road accident. Gizzi was released on $50 bail.
