Saw Mill River Parkway Weekday Lane Closures Expected

Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Motorists are advised that beginning on Monday, July 30 to Friday, August 10, weekday single and double lane closures are expected to occur on the Saw Mill River Parkway between the New York City Line and Exit 4 (Cross County Parkway) in Yonkers, while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Lane closures are expected on the northbound side of the Parkway from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lane closures are expected on the southbound side of the Parkway from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
