Local Girl Scout Has The 'Write Stuff'

Thanks to Tuckahoe Public Library Youth Services Librarian Ellen Tannenbaum for the following:

Saturday, local girl scout, Kate Hawthorne is doing her project the get her Girl Scout Gold Award. Her project is a teen writing day at Yonkers Riverfront Library. At 1:15 the teens will skype with author Gail Carson Levine. At 2:15 they'll do poetry with local poet Najuma. At 3:15 the 4-7th grade will work on creative writing with local author Barbara Dee.
