Tuckahoe High Names Class Salutatorian

The Tuckahoe Union Free School District has named Christopher Ushay as its 2013 Salutatorian. The District says Ushay "defines what it means to be a model student." 

Ushay scored a 100 on five Regets exams this year. He was also awarded four Senior Awards.

"With respect to academia, Christopher has distinguished himself by maintaining a 99.52 GPA while taking all courses at the AP and Honors level and attaining a surplus of extra credits evidencing his desire to take advantage of all that is availed to him," said School District officials.

Ushay has been active in the Science Olympiad Club, martial arts, Habitat for Humanity and many other organizations. This fall he will be attending Macaulay Honors College Program at Queens College.
