Why is the Bronxville Library Closed?

Some people in Bronxville are surprised to find that the doors of the Bronxville Public Library are locked this morning. The library had previously announced that it would be closed up until July 2 for a floor refinishing project.

The library will open its doors again on July 2 at 1 p.m. When that happens, there will be a re-opening party for its "Books are Sweet" summer reading game for young children and teenagers.

The library has extended all of the due dates on material until July 5, and all of the drop boxes are still open. If you need to pick up books that were put on hold, you can do that at other area libraries.
