Dozens of affordably priced units, in a Brooklyn building with its own pool and spa, are about to hit the city's housing lottery.
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — More than 30 affordably priced Sheepshead Bay apartments — located in a new development with a swimming pool, multiple spas and a yoga room — are slated to hit the city's housing lottery this week, city records show.
Thirty-two units in a new development at 2442 Ocean Ave. will become available through the city's NYC Housing Connect website on Wednesday, city records show.
Eight studios, 13 one-bedrooms and 11 two-bedrooms will be up for grabs to New Yorkers who meet the city's income requirement, or 130 percent of the area median income, according to the listing.

Studios cost $1,450 monthly and are available to New Yorkers earning between $49,715 and $97,110 a year and one-bedrooms cost $1,750 monthly and are available to households with annual incomes between $60,000 and $111,020.
Seven two-bedrooms, which come with a second bathroom, cost $2,499-a-month and are available to households of two to four people earning between $85,680 and $138,710.

The remaining four two-bedrooms, which come with just a single crap palace, cost $2,250-a-month and are available to households earning between $77,143 and $138,710 annually.
The seven-story, 105-unit residential development stands on the former lot of demolished garage on Ocean Avenue and Avenue T, according to Department of Building Records.
Brooklyn developers Yaacov Azrad and Eddie Yair purchased the land in February 2017 for $10.1 million, according to a report from The RealDeal.
Building amenities include a dry and wet spa, a pool, yoga room, a laundry room, doorman services and children's playroom, though additional fees may apply.
