8 People Go Missing In Brooklyn In 10 Days, Cops Say

BROOKLYN, NY — At least eight people were reported missing in Brooklyn over the past week and a half, according to police.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding eight people who went missing throughout the borough since Dec. 5, including residents from Flatbush, Bed-Stuy, Sunset Park, Coney Island, Dyker Heights and Brownsville.

The missing person's announcements were sent separately and police have not said they are related to one another.

Here is who they are (photos provided by the NYPD):

Desiree Rosario was last seen leaving her home on Neptune Ave. in Coney Island around 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. She is 13 years old and described as standing 5'2" tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black coat, grey pants and black and white sneakers.

Ashley Granger was last seen at her home on Rogers Avenue in East Flatbush around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5. She is 12 years old and is described as standing about 5'1", weighing approximately 110lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket, and black sneakers.

Harrison Warner, 81, was last seen leaving his home at 891 Ocean Ave. in Flatbush at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15. He is described as being approximately 5'5" tall, weighing 150 lbs., with brown eyes and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, beige pants and white shoes.

Jose Hurtado, 81, was last seen at his home at 41 Utica Ave. in Bed-Stuy around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15. There is a silver alert out for him. Hurtado is described as standing 5'9", weighing 170 pounds and has a medium build, dark complexion, silver hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pants and black sneakers.

Huiyan Wan was last seen at her home on Bay Ridge Avenue in Dyker Heights around 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9. She is 14 years old and is described as standing 5'5" tall and weighing 133 pounds.

Dermot Campbell, 86, was last seen near 2154 Nostrand Ave. around 3:25 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9. He is from Hendrickson Street in Marine Park. There is a silver alert out for Campbell, who is described as standing 5'5", weighing 135 pounds and was last seen wearing a beige jacket, gray Khaki style pants and black sneakers.

Wan Yuen Chan, 68, was last seen at his home at 672 59th St. in Sunset Park around 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. He is described as standing 5'8" tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Imani Samuel-Kennedy was last seen leaving her home on Saint Marks Avenue and was reported missing on Friday, Dec. 13. She is 14 years old and is described as standing 5'4" tall, weighing 120 pounds and has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black coat, black hat, blue jeans and black sneakers.
