Brooklyn Restaurants With Thanksgiving Day Specials

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — This year, instead of hauling your shoes out of the oven, weeping freely into potatoes you are mashing and trying to serve dinner on a closet door you've propped up on moving boxes, why not make reservations instead of turkey?

A slew of Brooklyn restaurants are offering Thanksgiving Day specials that involve all the fixings and no time with you trapped in a tiny, muggy kitchen with burnt ingredients that were once edible.

In hopes of saving you from yourself, and the out-of-towner relatives who don't understand your cool apartment anyway, here is Patch's round-up of Brooklyn eateries ready to make Thanksgiving dinner for you.

Antica Pesa

Address: 115 Berry St. in Williamsburg
Cuisine: Italian
Thanksgiving Day Special: Antica Pesa will serve classic Italian fare from its fall menu, because why shouldn't you give thanks for cacio e pepe?

Aurora

Address: 70 Grand St. in Williamsburg
Cuisine: Italian
Thanksgiving Day Special: Aurora will offer a $70 prix-fixe menu with three courses and an optional $30 wine pairing.

Beasts & Bottles

Address: 151 Atlantic Ave. in Cobble Hill
Cuisine: French
Thanksgiving Day Special: The $70 Thanksgiving menu features holiday classics (think roast turkey and pumpkin pie) as well as options that are more wild (literally, when it comes to the salmon.)

Bacchus Bistro

Address: 409-Atlantic Ave. in Boerum Hill
Cuisine: French
Thanksgiving Day Special: The $49.95 prix fix menu takes a heightened view on Thanksgiving with foie gras, lobster vol au vent and a chestnut-stuffed turkey breast.

Benchmark

Address: 339A Second St. in Park Slope
Cuisine: New American
Thanksgiving Day Special: Not only is Benchmark offering a $80 prix-fixe, they're also doing Thanksgiving to go, for those of you interested in conning your friends into thinking you cook.

Buttermilk Channel

Address: 524 Court St. in Carroll Gardens
Cuisine: American bistro
Thanksgiving Day Special: Buttermilk's traditional Thanksgiving dinner costs $85, 15 percent of which they'll donate to a nonprofit that provides free meals to those who need them.

Cecconi's Dumbo

Address: 55 Water St. in DUMBO
Cuisine: Modern Italian
Thanksgiving Day Special: The $75 prix fixe menu takes classic Thanksgiving staples and gives them Italian twists, because pancetta can be added to everything and it's fine.

Cent'Anni Brooklyn

Address: 742 Franklin Ave. in Crown Heights
Cuisine: Italian
Thanksgiving Day Special: Cent'Anni will serve a traditional three-course turkey dinner for $40-per-person. For turkey-haters, the full dinner menu will also be available.

Convivium Osteria

Address: 68 5th Ave in Park Slope
Cuisine: Mediterranean
Thanksgiving Day Special: Their three-course prix fixe goes for $65 ($45 if you haven't hit puberty yet) and features pumpkin ravioli and, for the adventurous, braised rabbit.

Glasserie

Thanksgiving Day Special: Glasserie's serving up a $66 Thanksgiving Feast with turkey and fall mezze.

Henry's End

Thanksgiving Day Special: Henry's End's $75 Thanksgiving menu ($37.50 for kids) gets things started special Thanksgiving-themed breads, then dives right in with bacon-y corn chowder. That's all you need to know.

Il Fornetto

Thanksgiving Day Special: Il Fornetto will serve a traditional feast for $42.95 and also offer a la carte options.

La Nonna Ristorante & Bar

Thanksgiving Day Special: La Nonna will keep serving its pasta-laden a la carte menu along with some Thanksgiving-inspired specials.

Meadowsweet

Thanksgiving Day Special: Meadowsweet is preparing a $95 three-course menu with so many squashes. So many.

Maison Premiere

Thanksgiving Day Special: You'll find a $75 pre fix menu and a la carte Oysters until 1 a.m.

Monte's

Thanksgiving Day Special: Instead of plain old turkey, try Tacchino Tradizionale! We're kidding, that's turkey. It just sounds better in Italian. Everything does.

Morgan's Brooklyn Barbecue

Address: 267 Flatbush Ave. in Prospect Heights
Cuisine: Take a wild guess.
Thanksgiving Day Special: Morgan's will have a special Thanksgiving menu that includes smoked turkey with all of the fixings, because of course it does.

Palo Santo

Address: 652 Union St. in Park Slope
Cuisine: Pan-Latin
Thanksgiving Day Special: Palo Santo's waistband-expanding five-course Thanksgiving dinner features Heritage Breed turkeys seasoned with classic mole poblano. Adults pay $75 ( plus $25 for wine) and parents pay $25 for the kids.

Sauvage

Cuisine: French and American
Thanksgiving Day Special: Sauvage will offer a $68 three-course Thanksgiving menu with traditional turkey and some French flare. (Pâté de Campagne? Yes, please.)
