Brooklyn: Snow Alert Issued For Saturday Morning
Put your sneakers back in the closet. Snow is likely on Saturday, mainly after noon, the forecast says.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) issued a "snow alert" for early Saturday morning at 7 a.m. to prepare snow plows and equipment, it announced Friday.
The DSNY said it will continue to monitor the forecast and possibility of snow all throughout Saturday. You can sign up to receive alerts — phone calls, text messages, or emails — about winter weather and other immediate emergencies from NotifyNYC, the city's emergency notification system.

Saturday morning: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. North wind 11 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of snow before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 18. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Northwest wind 14 to 18 mph.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Blustery, with a northwest wind 14 to 22 mph.
Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 18. Blustery.
