Fear The Riff: NYC's Effects Pedal & Guitar Expo
Neighborhood: Greenpoint
What: The “ultimate destination” for guitar lovers across New York City. Test, discuss and purchase gear directly from manufacturers. An exclusive lineup of guest artists will also be attending. Food and drinks are available for purchase at the venue.

Paige & Paxton STEM Pop-Up Shop
Neighborhood: Boerum Hill
What: Meet the mother-daughter authors of the Paige & Paxton STEM storybook series for kids and snag signed copies of your favorites before the school year begins.

Beers With(out) Beards Craft Beer Festival
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: A female-inspired tasting and celebration of women in the beer industry, featuring more than 20 women-owned, NYC-based breweries
Where: The Well, Meserole Street between Waterbury Street and Bushwick Avenue
When: Saturday at 12 p.m.
Enlightenment Wines Meadery Tour
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: Take an intimate tour of New York City’s first meadery and learn about the history of mead, one of the world’s oldest alcoholic beverages also known as honey wine. Tour includes a guided tasting of seasonal meads and discounts on bottles to go. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Only three spots remain.

Taste of Dust
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: Music and art groups affiliated with the Burning Man Festival community will “serve up playa vibes” at this multi-stage event that includes live music, performance spectacles and “massive” art installations.
Where: The Brooklyn Mirage, Stewart Avenue at Meserole Street
When: Doors open Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
