Stars and Luminaries attend Ripple of Hope Dinner Awards in NYC
Barack Obama receives RFK Human Rights Award
Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights celebrated 50 years at its annual Ripple of Hope dinner on December 12 in New York. Every year it’s a gathering of activists, business leaders, policymakers, and celebrities to honor individuals who are advancing Robert F. Kennedy’s vision of a more just and peaceful world.
The 2018 Ripple of Hope laureates were 44th President of the United States Barack Obama, Discovery President and CEO David Zaslav, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, and Humana CEO Bruce D. Broussard, who were selected for their exceptional work toward a more just and peaceful world.
The former president was all smiles as he accepted the award, a bronze bust of Bobby Kennedy's likeness, by the organization's president Kerry Kennedy.

Julianna Margulies, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Keegan-Michael Key, Kate Erbe were among the star-studded throng who attended the 2018 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights' Ripple Of Hope Awards in New York on Wednesday night.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the organization RFK Human Rights' founding and Kennedy's historic campaign for the White House.
