SNL Mocks MTA For Flushing Cheeky Bidet Ads From Subway
SNL's Michael Che said in support of the product, "Food tastes better. I can jump higher."

NEW YORK CITY – MTA officials have rejected a bidet ad that claims "Nothing says I love you like a clean butth*le" – and Saturday Night Live comedian Michael Che is not happy about it.
"People need to know about bidets," said Che during an appearance on Weekend Update, the sketch show's news segment. "I just got one and it's changed my life."
Che was responding to reports from TUSHY, a Brooklyn-based company that purportedly pitched "cheeky" ads for its modernized bidets, that the MTA would not run ads it deemed profane, a spokesperson said.

"The MTA ultimately declined their initial approval after seeing the photos because they view it as pushing a 'sexually oriented business,'" a Tushy spokesperson told Patch.
The edgy ads feature a man and woman who seem to derive great enjoyment from the Tushy, an attachable bidet that uses your toilet's plumbing to "spray your bottom clean," according to the company website.

Slogans include, “Nothing says I love you like a clean butth*le” and “Consider my hole life changed."
Outfront, the media company that works with the MTA, approved the text of the ads in October, when they were scheduled to run, but transit officials ultimately rejected to the photos, the Tushy spokesperson said.
An MTA spokesperson did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment, but Che had several:
"Food tastes better! I can jump higher."
"I want children now."
