New Affordable Bushwick Units Boast Squash Courts & Climbing Wall

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A life of outdoor grilling, squash playing, wall climbing and on-site parking could be yours for just $913 a month should you win the Bushwick affordable housing lottery that opened Monday.

There are 100 apartments up for grabs at 10 Montieth St. — a building that boasts numerous sports facilities, a sauna, laundry room and art studios — on the NYC Housing Connect website, city records show.

And you don’t need to be a millionaire to apply for one of the 32 studios, 54 one-bedrooms and 14 two-bedrooms that will stay on the lottery until June 15.

The $913-per-month studios are available to people earning between $33,189 and $43,860 a year.

The $980-per-month one-bedrooms are available to a single person or couple earning between $33,555 and $50,100 a year.

And the $1,183-per-month two-bedrooms are available to households earning between $42,549 and $62,580 a year.

Additional amenities include an on-site super, mail and package room, elevator gym, bike storage, courtyard, recreation rooms, business center, screening room, café, spa and dance studios.

The Rabsky Group — controversial team behind the Pfizer Site and Rheingold Brewery — developed the 392-unit rental building, according to a Curbed NY report.

The building sits on the corner of Bushwick Avenue and Montieth street, a four-block walk from the Flushing Avenue subway station and a half-mile walk to Roberta’s.
