What route does the march follow? The march route goes south down Fifth Avenue before turning right on Eighth Street and ending at the intersection of Christopher and Greenwich streets, near the Stonewall National Monument. You can view the complete map of the march route here. If you're looking to join the march yourself, here's a map of the staging areas where different groups can gather before the march begins. Organizers note that anyone is welcome to view the march as it travels through the city, but if you're looking to join in you must do so with a registered group.
How long will the march last? Organizers estimate that it will take between 60 and 90 minutes to cover the route if you're marching from start to finish.
What streets will be closed during the march? Dozens of streets will be closed between 12 and 7 p.m. on Sunday. In short, Fifth Avenue will be closed from Midtown to Greenwich Village. A complete list of street closures is available here. The entire route is closed to traffic, meaning that the following streets will be blocked off: Fifth Avenue between 36th and Eighth streets, Eighth Street from Fifth Avenue to Christopher Street, and Christopher Street between Greenwich Avenue and Greenwich Street. In addition, the blocks between Park and Sixth Avenues from 36th to 41st streets will be closed as a staging area for the march. And Greenwich Street between West 11th and Leroy streets will also be closed.
Is there parking? Pride is partnering with ParkWhiz to help manage parking during Pride events. You can find and book the parking spot you want here.
Is there anything else going on Sunday? Yes, there are a number of other Pride events on Sunday, the biggest being PrideFest, a street festival hosted between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. blocks from the end of the march.
