Chug some beer. Create your own superhero. Check out a midnight screening. Brooklyn is the place to be this weekend.

BROOKLYN, NY – Looking for something to do in Brooklyn this weekend? A rainy weather forecast won't be allowed to dampen Pride festivities, with a host of activities planned to accompany the nation's biggest parade in Manhattan. But there's plenty more going on.
Midnite Screening: “Drive”
Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: A late-night showing of this 2011 film about a Hollywood stuntman, played by Ryan Gosling, who by night is a getaway driver for criminals.
Where: Nitehawk Cinemas, Metropolitan Avenue between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue
When: Seating starts at 11:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Show begins at 12:10 a.m.
Glitterati Pride: No Place Like Home
Neighborhood: Bushwick
What: A sparkly celebration of NYC Pride featuring musical performances from Amber Valentine, Mike Swells, JT Almonk, Olive T. and Johnny Five. Glittery ensembles are required for entry.
Where: House of Yes, Wyckoff Avenue at Jefferson Street
When: Friday at 10 p.m.

Green City Beer Festival
Neighborhood: Greenwood
What: Forty-eight breweries will bring their three best hoppy brews and one beer of their choice to this five-hour drinking extravaganza. Entertainment will be provided by professional wrestlers, who will battle it out in a Death Match while attendees watch the action ringside.
Where: 36th Street between Second and Third avenues
When: Saturday at 11 a.m.
Working with Psychedelics: Tools for Growth, Creativity, and Vision
Neighborhood: Boerum Hill
What: Explore the ability of psychedelics to transform your mind — in both micro and high doses — during this four-hour workshop hosted by Paul Austin, founder of The Third Wave.
Where: Atlantic Avenue between Bond and Hoyt streets

New York State of Mind Superhero Sci Fi Festival
Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: Create your own superhero, build your own lightsaber, shop around the superhero market and much more at this local superhero carnival.
Where: Heckscher Foundation Children's Garden, Scholes Street between Manhattan and Graham avenues
When: Saturday at 2 p.m.
Crawl Brooklyn: Williamsburg Pub Crawl
Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: A three-hour bar tour through Brooklyn featuring drink specials and/or free entry to each spot on the handpicked route.
Where: Participants will be emailed bar locations before the event begins.
When: Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Central Brooklyn Arts and Culture Walk
Neighborhood: Prospect Heights
What: A block party-style event including music and dance performances that showcase diversity. Food trucks, arts and crafts and a kids fun zone complete with bouncy rides and games will also be on hand. Grammy Award-winning musician and Brooklynite Antonio Hardy will also be honored in a special “Welcome Back to Brooklyn” ceremony, where he will receive the “key to Brooklyn” and have his name engraved on the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Celebrity Parh.

When: Sunday at 12 p.m.
Visual Storytelling Lab
Neighborhood: Greenwood
What: The workshop mixes experimentation, science and drawing to explore how comics can communicate complex thoughts through purely visual elements.
Where: 32nd Street between Third and Fourth avenues
When: Sunday at 2 p.m.
