World Cup Weekend Party
Neighborhood: Bushwick
What: Watch the World Cup quarter finals on the big screen, grab a cocktail, chow down, enjoy some fútbol and dance during the post-game dance party. Entry is first come, first served.
Where: House of YES, Wyckoff Avenue at Jefferson Street
When: Two days: Brazil versus Belgium, Friday at 2 p.m., England versus Sweden on Saturday at 10 a.m. and Russia versus Croatia at 2 p.m.

DFA Records Summer Hot Dog No. 2 With Live DJs
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: A multi-room warehouse celebration with a cozy dance floor, second-floor lounge and DJ sets from Holy Ghost!, Nancy Whang, Juan MacLean and many others.
Where: Elsewhere, Johnson Avenue between Scott and Gardner avenues
When: Doors open Friday at 5 p.m.

The Emoji Art Show Tour
Neighborhood: Bushwick
What: Discover emoji-inspired art from more than 30 local artists, plus live performances, live art, body painting, DJ sets, a full Bar with food and emoji-themed desserts.
Where: Absurd Conclave, Jefferson Avenue between Irving and Wyckoff avenues
When: Friday at 8 p.m.

PineappleRide 2018
Neighborhood: Bath Beach
What: A charity bike ride through Brooklyn to raise funds for a documentary film project by Humanity Stoke that highlights the world of science, art, music, history and raises awareness for LGBTQ rights, environmental issues, politics and legal issues.
Where: Bensonhurst Park, Cropsey Avenue at Bay Parkway
When: Saturday at 9 a.m.

Video Music Box 35th Anniversary
Neighborhood: Coney Island
What: A summer hip-hop concert featuring performances from Fat Joe, DJ Enuff, Special Ed, Nice n Smooth and more.
Where: Coney Art Walls, 3050 Stillwell Ave. near the Coney Island Boardwalk Garden
When: Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Cityfox Experience
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: An all-night dance party at this huge warehouse space, featuring live performances from house music DJs andhim, HOSH, Rodriguez Jr. and more.
Where: The Brooklyn Mirage, Stewart Avenue at Meserole Street
When: The beats start bumping Saturday at 5 p.m.

BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Presents Rhye, Natalie Prass, Overcoats
Neighborhood: Prospect Park
What: A free concert with a headlining performance from Canadian R&B artist Rhye. Openers include singer-songwriter Natalie Prass and folk-soul duo Overcoats.
Where: Prospect Park Bandshell, Prospect Park West at 11th Street
When: Gates open at 6 p.m., music starts at 7 p.m.
