Zack Lerman of Brooklyn Boxing in Long Island Fight for Charity
As part of its Champion Sponsorship of Long Island 15th Fight for Charity, SunPower by EmPower employee Zach Lerman will box in the event.

BROOKLYN, NY; MAY 1, 2018 – The Long Island Fight for Charity, the nation's only all-volunteer charity boxing event, has announced that Island Park-based SunPower by EmPower Solar, a leading residential and commercial solar-energy-solutions provider, will be the event's Champion Sponsor. EmPower Solar has committed to taking an active role the entire year leading up to the 15th annual Fight for Charity Main Event on Monday, November 19, at the Hilton Long Island. EmPower Solar employees are taking their companies participation and support for the 15th annual Long Island Fight for Charity event a step further. Committing their own time to train, learn to box, raise additional funds and fight in the 15th anniversary event are two executives with the company: Zack Lerman, Director of Sales Manager from Brooklyn and Tara Bono, Marketing Manager from East Islip.

The Long Island Fight for Charity Main Event is one of Long Island's largest and most anticipated charity fundraising and business networking events of the year. The evening's card features local business professionals turned volunteer boxers, who will go toe-to-toe in the ring as the feature attraction. This popular fundraiser also includes food and beverage tastings from more than 25 local restaurants and beverage companies.

Proceeds from the Long Island Fight for Charity fundraiser will be donated to the Long Island Community Chest, The Genesis School, the National Foundation for Human Potential and other local charities. This nonprofit organization given away over $1.1 million to Long Island charities since 2003. This year's 15th Main Event will sell out and is expected to break previous fundraising records. Over 1,100 people are expected to be at ringside to watch the matches.

Tickets for the 15th Main Event are available online. VIP Tickets (Reserved Seating) are $250; General Admission Tickets are $135, Standing Room with Limited Seating.
