107 New Affordable Brownsville Apartments Hit Housing Lottery
Snag a newly built one-bedroom for just $558 per month at 428 Saratoga Ave.
BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — More than 100 affordable units are up for grabs in a new apartment complex with amenities that include parking spaces, a laundry room and a video intercom system.
The 107 affordable apartments at 428 Saratoga Ave. hit the NYC Housing Connect lottery on Aug. 30 and will be available until Oct. 30, according to the agency’s website.
Six apartments — three $558 one-bedrooms, one $676 two-bedroom and two $775 three-bedrooms — are available to applicants making between $21,600 and $ 44,280, or about 40 percent of the Area Median Income.

Thirteen apartments — four $720 one-bedrooms, four $870 two-bedrooms and five $1000 three-bedrooms — are available to applicants making between $27,155 and $ 55,350, or 50 percent of the AMI.
And 88 apartments — 49 $882 one-bedrooms 29 $1,065 two-bedrooms 10 $1,224 three-bedrooms — are available to applicants making between $32,709 and $66,420, or 60 percent of the AMI.

Amenities include “exquisitely finished” kitchens and bathrooms with energy-efficient appliances and fixtures, security cameras, a live-in super, laundry rooms, outdoor recreation area, community room and parking spaces, according to NYC Housing Connect.
