Teens Rob 15-Year-Old Male on East New York Bus

The 15-year-old male was robbed of his iphone and possessions on the B52 bus near Flatlands and Pennsylvania Avenues​: NYPD.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A 15-year-old male was robbed by two unidentified teenagers (pictured above) while riding on the b52 bus in East New York in mid-September, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said.

The victim was on the B52 bus near Flatlands and Pennsylvania Avenues on the border of New Lots, Starrett City and Canarsie on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 8:00 p.m., when two teenaged males took the victim's Ferragamo belt, iphone 6 cellphone and black Bape hoodie, NYPD said.

The suspects then fled the location in an unknown direction, police said.

Detectives describe the two male suspects as standing about five-feet-ten-inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds; both suspect were last seen wearing white t-shirts.

This crime took place in the NYPD's 75th Precinct, which patrols the East New York section of Brooklyn, including Cypress Hills, Starrett City and City Line. Through Sept. 25, robberies in the 75th were down 14 percent compared to the same period in 2015, according to official police statistics.
