20 New Affordable Brownsville Studios Cost $571 A Month

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — More than a dozen Brownsville apartments that cost less than $600 a month will hit the city's affordable housing lotto this week, city records show.

Twenty studios at 212 Hegeman Ave. that cost just $571 a month are slated to hit the NYC Housing Connect lottery Thursday.

Applicants must earn 60 percent of the area median income, or between $28,640 and $51,240 a year, to qualify.
