4 People Injured In Brownsville Fire, FDNY Says

BROWNSVILLE, NY — Four people were injured in an early Friday morning Brownsville fire, the Fire Department said.

A fire broke out about 4:55 a.m. at 356 Chester St. between Livonia and Dumont avenues, an FDNY official said.

Four people were injured in the blaze — one serious, but non-life-threatening injury and three minor injuries, according to the FDNY.

The fire was on the first floor of a private, residential building and was put out by 5:26 a.m., the FDNY official said.
