BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Five new apartments in Brownsville and East New York hit the affordable housing market this week.
Two listings at 6 Havens Place and 671 Liberty Ave. went live on the NYC Housing Connect website Thursday and could mean new homes for New Yorkers who meet specific income requirements.
Households earning between $75,429 and $172,120 a year can apply for one of two three-bedrooms, which will cost $2,200 a month, at 6 Havens Place, records show.

The Brownsville building features a laundry room and is within walking distance of the Broadway Junction train station. Qualifying New Yorkers have until June 27 to apply.
A $1,400-a-month studio, a $1,650-a-month one-bedroom, and a $1,950-a-month two-bedroom are also available at 671 Liberty Ave.

The three units are available to New York households earning between $48,000 and $138,000 a year and will be available online until June 27.
Building amenities include rooftop access and a laundry room.
