51-Year-Old Man Punched in Face, Robbed by 2 Suspects, Police Say
The 51-year-old man was standing on a Cypress Hills, Brooklyn street corner when he was robbed in the early morning of Sept. 19, NYPD said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A 51-year-old man was attacked and robbed of his wallet on the street in Cypress Hills by a duo of unidentified suspects (in the above image and the following video) in mid-September, according to the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
The victim was on the corner of Ashford St. and Ridgewood Ave. Monday, Sept. 19, at approximately 3:30 a.m. when the two male suspects approached the man and punched the victim in the face, NYPD said.
Police said the two suspects "removed the victim's wallet and fled the location in an unknown direction."

The suspects are described as two 25-year-old males standing approximately six-feet tall and weighing 135 pounds, NYPD.
Detectives had made no arrests by Friday afternoon, and the investigation was ongoing, according to the NYPD.

The vicim was robbed in the NYPD's 75th Precinct, which covers East New York, Cypress Hills, New Lots, City Line and Starrett City. According to official police statistics, through the end of September, the number of robberies in the 75th was down 20 percent compared to the number of robberies recorded in the same time period last year.
