82-Year-Old Robbed Of $8.4K And Cigarette-Stuffed Duffle: Cops
Police are looking for two men who stole $8,400 and a duffle bag full of smokes from an elderly Canarsie woman.
CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — An elderly woman was robbed of $8,400 in cash and a duffle bag full of cigarettes by two armed men who bust into the 82-year-old's Canarsie home, according to police.
The two men charged into the NYCHA Bay View Houses apartment near Seaview Avenue and Rockaway Parkway about 3 p.m. on Aug. 2, police said.
They whipped out a gun, demanded money and stormed off with the cash and smokes, said police.

Police released photos of the suspects Thursday night.
One suspect is a man in his 50s, standing about 6-foot tall, weighing about 250 pounds and wearing a white hat, glasses, a grey hoodie and sweatpants, police said.

The second man, also in his 50s, stands about 5-foot 7-inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds and can be seen wearing all dark clothing.
