Brooklyn Teen Disappears On Christmas Eve, Police Say

Tariq Asalat was reported missing in Brooklyn on Christmas Day, according to police.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN -- A Brooklyn teenager disappeared from his Brooklyn home on Christmas Eve and has not been seen since, according to police.

Tariq Asalat, 16, was last seen leaving his home near Fountain and Atlantic avenues at about 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 24, said police.

Asalat stands 5-foot 5-inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and was last seen wearing dark clothing, according to police.
