Brooklyn Woman Charged For Fatal Subway Face Stabbing: Police
Mia Simmons stands accused of killing Latanya Watson in the Sutter Avenue 3 train station Monday night, police said.
BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn woman faces manslaughter charges for stabbing another woman to death inside a Brownsville subway station Monday evening, police said.
Mia Simmons, 20, stands accused of stabbing 30-year-old Latanya Watson in the face, neck and arm inside the Sutter Avenue 3 train station mezzanine on Rutland Road and East 98th Street just before 9:20 p.m., said police.
Emergency responders rushed Watson to Brookdale Hospital but doctors were unable to save her life, police said.

Police announced Tuesday evening that Simmons, of Brownsville, had been arrested on manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
Information about when and where Simmons would be arraigned was not immediately available.
