VIDEO: Brownsville Woman Fights Back Against Robber
"That's what my brother taught me — either go for the knee or the groin," she said.
BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A courageous 28-year-old woman fought back against a man who allegedly attempted to rob at gunpoint the surgical supply store where she worked on Friday afternoon, video surveillance shows.
Oksana Aulova, whom the New York Daily News describes as barely 5 feet tall, refused to give money over to the robber and physically defended herself while he was demanding money and pointing a gun at her face, the video shows. The robber then punched and kicked Aulova and pistol whipped her in the head twice, cops said.
Aulova attempted to kick the attacker in the crotch and steal his gun from out of his hands, she told the Daily News.
