Commercial Building Planned To Fill East New York Space, Report Says

The application comes as the neighborhood is seeing a residential boom.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN – A two-story commercial building could be coming to 711 New Lots Ave. after a developer filed new building permits, according to YIMBY.

The building will bring 10,420 square feet of space, the website reported.

The application comes as East New York is seeing a residential boom, YIMBY noted, with Mayor Bill de Blasio's administration seeking to encourage affordable housing there.

Felix Pustylnik of Felix Pustylnik, P.E. is designing the new development and Soly Bawabeh of Bawabeh Brothers will build it, according to YIMBY.
