The official video has also been launched on the Reggaeville YouTube channel, where it has been viewed over 10,000 times, after its worldwide release in mid-July. Akua is also pictured, giving encouragement and advice through the song’s conscious lyrics, as well as showing off her melodic vocals. Featuring a slow-grooving reggae rhythm, the lyrics of It’s Cold Out There highlights the loneliness faced by people who are going through problems and how important it is to find ways to cope and give thanks for being alive. She writes and arranges all her songs and has been in the music business for well over a decade.
