Man Found Dead In Cypress Hills, Police Say

A 36-year-old man was found dead in Cypress Hills, according to police.

CYPRESS HILLS, NY — Police found a dead man in an apartment in Cypress Hills while performing a wellness check Wednesday night, police said.

Cops arrived at the home at 123 Weldon St. about 7:15 p.m. after receiving a 911 call from a concerned New Yorker, police said.

When the officers arrived on the scene, they found the 36-year-old man unconscious inside a bedroom.

Medics subsequently pronounced the man dead on the scene. A medical examiner is set to determine the cause of the man's death, and a police investigation into it is ongoing, according to police.

There have been no arrests made, the NYPD says.
