Brooklyn Hit-And-Run Victim Dies, Cops Still Seeking Driver

The 47-year-old Queens man died from injuries sustained during the Sept. 22 crash, police said.

CYRPESS HILLS, NY — A Queens man struck in a hit-and-run crash last month died from his injuries and police are still looking for the driver, police said.

Antonio Gonzalez, 47, was hit by an SUV while trying to cross North Conduit Avenue on Sept. 22, cops said.

The car sped away and Gonzalez, of Jamaica in Queens, suffered serious head injuries, according to the NYPD.

Medics rushed the unconscious Gonzalez to Brookdale Hospital where he later died, police said.

The dark Nissan Murano had front-end damage, according to ABC7.
